Alex oversees the planning and implementation of programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). These programs allow cities and counties to receive valuable funding so they can provide affordable housing to vulnerable, at-risk members of their communities, improve infrastructure and support public service.
Prior to joining Triad, Alex served as the community development director for the City of Vineland. During that time, he developed and launched a homeownership assistance program that helped more than 250 families purchase their own homes. He also initiated a loan-repayment program that brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in delinquent loans without legal action.
Alex received a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. He enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
