As an Associate, Laura works with clients from project development, to writing grant applications, and shepherding awarded grants through implementation. She researches grant opportunities and components such as community demographics, environmental issues, and business portfolios.
Laura graduated magna cum laude in 2008 from Rutgers University New Brunswick, earning her B.A. in Communications. She later received her M.A. in Writing from Rowan University graduating summa cum laude in 2013 with a focus on journalistic, creative and new media styles of writing.
Previously, Laura was the After School Director at TECH Freire Charter School in North Philadelphia designing and facilitating STEAM programs, overseeing staff, and managing the implementation of 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant funds. She is passionate about creating opportunities for youth and individuals who face financial and socioeconomic challenges.
In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and son, hiking and kayaking, and performing in local theater productions.
