Triad knows that the heart of every community is its people, and so many nonprofits are making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.
To support those agencies, Triad started its “Great People, Great Places” Initiative in 2020 – a commitment to making quarterly donations to area nonprofits to help them advance their important missions.
Because of the positive impact this program has had, we are excited to continue it in 2021!
Every quarter, Triad employees nominate a nonprofit that is important to them, and those nonprofits that receive donations are selected randomly from those nominations.
Recently, Triad was proud to make a donation to the dZi Foundation — a nonprofit dedicated to improving isolated communities in Nepal. The agency was nominated by Triad Chief Operating Officer Tammy Wetzel.
Through their partnership with 13 communities in this country that rests between India and China and is the home to Mt. Everest, dZi is improving the quality of life for the 44,123 people who call these villages home. Training, education, and basic infrastructure improvements are only a few of the programs offered by dZi that are making positive impacts on lives in this remote nation.
