Triad Presents on Funding Strategies at Leadership Cape May County

Triad Associates was proud to present to Leadership Cape May County’s class in April. Leadership Cape May is a valuable program offered through the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce for business leaders across the county. The program is designed to develop informed, committed, and qualified business, community, and civic leaders for the benefit of Cape May County.

Triad President Carolyn Zumpino opened the presentation with an overview of Triad’s services, including grant writing, economic development strategies, and strategic planning and development support for businesses.

Associate and Marketing Coordinator Brandon Searles followed with a presentation on grant research strategies for a variety of organizations, including municipalities, nonprofits, and businesses. The strategies discussed focused on effectively narrowing grant opportunities to align with specific project needs. Brandon also highlighted the importance of marketing in grant success, emphasizing the need for organizations to maintain an active and credible online presence to increase visibility with potential funders.

Senior Associate Todd Noon closed the session with a presentation on the state of funding and recent Cape May County projects supported through Triad’s grant writing and funding efforts. These include the reconstruction of the Wildwoods Boardwalk, an Assistance to Firefighters Grant for the Borough of Avalon to purchase dual-band radios, the construction of a new Cape May County Library Commission facility, and the development of the Cape May Airport Tech Village – Phases 1 and 2.

Todd also shared strategies for resource development and grant writing. Drawing on Triad’s extensive experience in the field and his own 12+ years tenure, he provided practical insights into navigating the complex processes involved in successful grant acquisition and resource development.

Thank you to Barbara Jones and the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce for inviting Triad to present to the Leadership Cape May County class.
