Marleen brings more than 15 years of experience in federal and privately funded grants/proposals, including all aspects of the process from soup-to-nuts: developing and tracking the budgets, drafting responses to qualifications questionnaires, and collaborating with teams of subject matter experts. Her career experience includes monitoring institutional compliance for research and training activities, pre-award services, billing and financial reporting, cash management, cost analysis and compliance of research related activities, verifying technical, patent and invention report submissions by Principal Investigators, closeout of awards, and the implementation of information technology into research administration activities.
