Michael Furda, Technical Advisor
Prior to coming to Triad, Michael developed over 20 years of specialized experience as an Environmental Protection Specialist in US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Region 2 Office of Environment. In this capacity, he provided valuable guidance and support to grantees and partners across the region.
Earlier in his career, Michael worked as a municipal planning director in Pennsylvania and held planning and zoning positions in New Jersey, giving him a strong foundation in local, state, and federal community development processes.
At Triad, Michael continues to serve as a trusted resource on environmental review requirements, drawing on his deep expertise and long-standing relationships with agencies and communities.
Outside of work, he is active as an Interests Coordinator for the United Way/CFC, a member of the Squam Lakes Association, American Legion, and Elks, and enjoys skiing and fishing in his free time.
