Tammy is responsible for the planning and preparation of state, federal, and private community development grant funding applications, with a specialization in human services related projects and grant proposals. She also has extensive experience with Small Cities, Brownfields, and Transportation related grants. Over the past several years Tammy has transitioned from solely being a grant writer to providing implementation services, grants management and procurement oversight for grants; with awards from several thousand to several million. With a broad base of knowledge, Tammy brings creative problem solving to community planning and funding issues.
Prior to joining Triad, Tammy was the empowerment zone/community development specialist for the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS). In this role, she was responsible for creating community directed service funding for all seven divisions under the DHS, grant development, compliance standards, structuring of program development teams and program implementation.
