Triad Associates is proud to announce we have successfully secured more than $585,600 in Local Recreation Improvement Grants (LRIG) for projects across South Jersey!
The Local Recreation Improvement Grants program, offered by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), is a competitive grant program designed to support the improvement and repair of public recreation facilities across the state. These funds are available to New Jersey counties, municipalities, and school districts, and can be used for a wide range of improvements—from updating playgrounds, pools, and community centers to creating or enhancing walking trails, sports courts, and other public recreational facilities.
For Fiscal Year 2025, Triad was able to secure funding for seven of our clients to carry out important recreational projects that include:
- $82,687 – Reconditioning basketball and tennis courts at Broadmoor West Park in Gloucester Township (Camden County)
- $88,000 – Constructing new pickleball courts at Dunn’s Park in Carneys Point (Salem County)
- $82,000 – Improving walking and biking paths at Northern Community Park in Bordentown Township (Burlington County)
- $87,000 – Upgrading the Salem County Recreation Park in Oldmans Township with a new baseball field backstop, ADA-compliant bleachers, and improved playground equipment
- $86,000 – Repurposing tennis courts into pickleball courts and making additional upgrades at Caldwell Park in Upper Township (Cape May County)
- $80,000 – Installing new playground equipment at the municipal Little League field in Clayton (Gloucester County)
- $80,000 – Adding new playground equipment at Warren E. Sooy Elementary School in Hammonton (Atlantic County)
