Triad Associates Secures $2.55M in Small Cities Grants

Triad Associates is proud to announce that we have recently secured $2.55 million in Small Cities Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) for a number of our local government clients in New Jersey.

The Small Cities Grants Program, administered by the NJ Department of Community Affairs, provides direct financial assistance to eligible municipalities and counties for vital projects such as housing rehabilitation, public facility improvements, community revitalization, and economic development. This program is exclusively available to non-entitlement local government entities – typically those serving populations under 50,000 – that do not receive direct funding from HUD.

For FY25, Triad secured funding for six of our clients across two categories: Public Facilities and Housing Rehabilitation.

ADA-Compliant Residential Boardwalk and Ramp | Coastal Engineering Co.

Public Facilities – Totaling $2 Million

North Wildwood – $400,000 to create ADA-compliant access to the beach and boardwalk at 18th Avenue

Egg Harbor City – $400,000 for ADA-compliant infrastructure improvements and removal of architectural barriers at the Egg Harbor City Senior Center

Woodbine – $400,000 for water system improvement and related street reconstruction along Heilprin Avenue between Clay and Webster Streets
